So I originally posted this under makeup but figured professional makeup artists would be a lot more help since you guys have experience.

Apply primer/tranclucent powder to eyelids, lift eyelid up by lifting up eyebrow at arch (don't drag skin) use a brush rather than sponge tipped applicator to apply, and softer greys/pastal colour tend to look best on mature skin :)
