I use to be able to style my hair however I wanted and it would hold all day, particularly curls, now I'm lucky for the curls to last half an hour. I grew out all dye from my hair for a solid year but recently dyed it all blonde again, and its very healthy considering. I use hairspray after never before. Also I live in a pretty humid area in australia, would that contribute?
Any products, techniques or anything you advise?
Thanks :)

Curling iron or a straightner :)

Try using a light hold spray before and after you heat style, many light layers of spray hold better then a few heavier coats. As well, try taking smaller sections to get a tighter curl, then letting it relax. That way when they 'fall out' your hair will still be wavy! Good luck.

I always have a problem with my straight hair cos it won't just curl. Good thing I found this clipless curling iron, it's Sultra Bombshell. Then I use Garnier the anti-humidity spray. Love how the iron curls my hair so fast and lasts on the 2nd day. I'm not even kidding. It's kinda expensive though but it's worth it. This is my holy grail!

Absolutely living in a humid climate will affect hair. I'm in US-FL where it is very hot and humid. Do you have curly hair? Thin hair, straightening with a flat iron? Better to recommend products knowing hair type etc..

I have fine hair, slight curl underneath and slightly wavy on my crown but pretty flat and straight around my face. I have professionly dyed hair, (no at home dyes ever done) only been bleached recently after I grew it all out. For around a year I think I've only used heat 3 times a month. I worship my hair the way I treat it. Would that have anything to do with it, maybe too much conditioning products in it? Straightens fine, just curl it won't hold :)
thank you so much
