Any recommendations on what product to use to get loose waves with using a curling wand? I have fine hair with a little bit of wave, but not nice wave... Looking for a product to pretty it up.

I've used a drugstore sea salt spray in the past but it left my hair looking crunchy.

I was going to say braid it with at least 4 separate braids and salt spray over night.

Yes!! I do this all the time. so if you want to wake up in the morning with beach waves, you do this.
take a shower in the evening and let it get damp/dry. (make sure its not too wet) then part your hair in half so that you can make 2 buns. (kind of like princess leah) to make the 2 buns, you part the first half of your hair in 2 and then just tightly twist the hair. and make the bun and secure it with a hair tie. and repeat with the other side. sleep with it and take it out in the morning.

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray works or make your own by purchasing a plastic 8 oz spray bottle, add couple tsps. sea salt, and some oil or conditioner because the salt will dry out hair. Spritz in, then section off hair into 4 parts and create 4 low buns.
