Blue Violet Hair?

So I've been wanting to add some color into my hair. I recently bleached it and ombred the ends of my hair. (The photo on the right) However, I want it to be a dark vibrant color if that makes sense. I don't want it neon or super bright but I want it to be obvious and noticable. I just want a different shade of blue violet.

Many hair dressers have told me that my hair has to be a pale yellow to take the color. However, my question is will the blue hair dye still take to my hair if its this strawberry blonde brown color?

The products I was going to use is N Rage cobalt blue and twisted teal mixed together to get a nice blue color. Thanks ladies!

Yeah, your hair will take the color, just not as well. It might end up a strange shade because of the brassiness of your hair now. You'd have to lighten it more to get a true color.

I used Ion powder lightener it obviously didn't do the job I expected it to do. It may be because I used 20 vol developer maybe Ill get 30 for a better lift. However, I seriously am trying to get rid of this orangey tint to my hair. I get compliments I don't know why but I want it ash blonde!
