I get an awesome feeling whenever I buy makeup regardless of price. I do enjoy the buying experience of high-end because the lines I visit often throw in nice freebies. Love the packaging on some of them too. I bought a YSL 4shadow palette the other day. $55 bucks of luxury and I didn't feel one ounce of guilt.

Excited haha. I love high end products. People will argue there's no difference, and for some products there isn't, but overall I see a huge difference and I much prefer it. So I just feel excited mostly lol. I'm also like Kyra though. I read reviews and descriptions before I buy anything, even if it's $5 or even less sometimes. If I can't afford something at the time I don't buy it so I don't feel guilty and don't get stressed about it.

I regret but then again you buy on sale or when you get a whole discount on the entire purchase so you don't feel as bad and buying something that benefits multiple ways than just doing one thing so I don't feel as guilty

I get so excited because I really research and see if it will work for people with my skin type/tone! If it doesn't work at all I will return it!

I feel blessed that I'm lucky enough to purchase something I enjoy, but I feel that way about any cosmetic I like...even from CVS. Then, I love reading all the packaging and tidying up my vanity/train case. That always serves as a reminder that I have plenty to work with and so it is common for me to be content for months. :)

Excited! You pay for what you get. And if I don't like it? I return it. Always keep those receipts ladies. I've never had a problem retuning makeup to Sephora, Ulta, MAC, etc. just be polite.

Mixed feelings. I get a high/impulse, sometimes a little guilt because I wonder if I should have spent that money on 8 lipliners, and will I use them all? I only buy things I've pondered and researched for months, which is good. I don't wear makeup often but I know I'll use what I get. I try to limit hoarding and am able to cleanse my collection from time to time and let go of the babies I hardly ever use.

I always do my research about the makeup that I wanted to buy. I don't want to regret after. And I hate returning items. Lol. I'm a newbie when it comes to makeup. I'm on my 30's and. I just started loving makeup.I'm not kidding. I watched tutorials on YT and I was hooked. So one day I went to Nordstrom,Ulta and Sephora and bought these. I even had a list of items to purchase. It was overwhelming for me as a newbie. But I enjoyed it. Here is the pic.

I don't ever feel bad. I always use my "mad" money and if by chance I get something I don't dig I give it to one of my girlfriends💜
My goodness Mylene!! You rock it babes!! My first collection was extremely pathetic compared to yours lol

Thank you Gypsy! My obsession just started 2 mons ago. And it took me 3 weeks to complete the list. I was overwhelmed with the Mac brushes that I bought. Goodness, didnt know it was that expensive. But then I realized now that it's better to invest in good brushes than makeup. Cos makeup will expire. But brushes will stay longer if taken care of. Now I'm into collecting brushes and skincare. All these girl thingy makes me work a lot of overtime just to pay for these. Lol.

The only thing I feel bad about is that I couldn't buy everything I wanted!!
I research and usually agonize (but in a good way) over what I'm going to buy especially high end items. I read a lot of reviews for high and low end products, with the lower end products I don't mind some disappointment sometimes, other times I have returned the item.
I used to impulse shop, but I feel like my makeup shopping is pretty well thought out now.

I feel like happy that I bought it, but at the same time I am like darn it! I guess I'm not going to the movies...:)

Sometimes it hurts a little paying for more expensive stuff, but it is something I have come to accept with that being most of my makeup. Between being so fair that only high end makeup makes foundation and concealer light enough for me, choosing to stay cruelty free, and trying to use all vegan while still keeping good quality I don't really have too much of another choice. There are some things (like finishing powder [use translucent since I am so light]) that I can do drug store, but it's really few and far between that there is something I can.
So as long as the quality is good, works well (or more so great) with me, and hits my cruelty free and vegan, it is worth it in the end to me.
