Do you feel guilty or nothing at all? Like after you bought a makeup item for a lot of money how do you feel?

I regret it because most of the time I don't use it

Nothing at all. I prefer high end products, though are some drug store things I like, so spending $29 on a blush doesn't phase me as much as it use to.

I never regret what I buy, I do feel guilty sometimes because I'll buy a pallet instead of being responsible and paying a bill that needs to be payed.

Excited! But I get like that no matter the price lol. Even if it's $1 Makeup is the one thing I can spend a lot of money on. Anything new just makes me happy 😝

I feel awesome because I look into what I'm buying so I know I'm going to use it & not waste my money. & I only buy makeup when I can afford to splurge, so never feel guilty & about buying it :p

I feel good about I like how the product looks. but if I don't like the product after trying it on I feel bad for spending so much money. I don't mind paying a lot, but as long as it is worth the price if it looks great. lol

I feel good at the time but then I look at everything I already have and think "crap, I really didn't need these 3 palettes when I have pretty much the same colours in other palettes"

Like the other day I bought a mac primer & foundation spent like $60 & I ended up not liking it, now the products are just sitting there.

I feel good. I love makeup and I sacrifice buying new clothes for high end makeup. In all honesty, I've spent enough to almost be a VIB Rogue at sephora this year. And don't get me started on other makeup counters like mac and Estée Lauder. But I use my makeup all the time.

The only time I feel bad is when I don't like the product. Waste of money, and now it's just going to sit and collect dust. This is why is so important for me to look at reviews on products. I feel way better buying an expensive product because I know it's great quality, a lot of drugstore products are hit and miss.

Thankfully I've been doing tons of reviewing before purchasing lately, so it's saved me from wasting money. I just ordered several palettes from BH Cosmetics that would've cost $85, but were only $50 on sale. I'm happy about my purchases because I thoroughly reviewed all the products before I bought them :)

I have regretted some buys in the past because I didn't really end up using them. so Yeh guilty. but if it's something I really want and like I won't be guilty. now I always review products before buying them. I like to invest in high end items and low end items..so price is important for me.

I get a high from it! Which I found out that is one of the signs of having a shopping addiction. I used to impulse buy, A LOT. I would buy clothes, jewelry, makeup, etc. just to buy something, and never actually use it, but I would get a shopping high. I stopped doing that because it's horrible. Now I thoroughly research products, and for clothes or jewelry I make sure I'm definitely going to wear it. If I have any doubt, I won't buy it. So no, I don't feel guilty about buying high end, because it's pretty much all I use. And I know I'll get use out of it.

You truly get what you paid for. I have used both high end products and dollar products (and everything in between) and even though it might seem like Hey they all Work! the difference is sometimes obvious. Just focusing on lipsticks, most lipsticks from drug store (not all) but the lesser priced ones tend to stay for short periods of time or not be true to the color it's advertised as. As for Mac lipsticks which aren't that expensive $15 (9 with pro discount, I believe) those will stay on for hours and the colors are bright and vivid, or depending on the finish they are intended to be. I think you have to truly try all products cheap and expesive and pin point what will be better for YOUR face as we all are different.
