They probably are just weak try not using nailpolish for a whole and using a strengthening top coat also once they grow file them instead of cuting them.

Everytime you remove your nail polish you should moisturize your nails. Nail polish remover is very hard on the nails and can make them very dry. Also using a file on them a couple of times a week and using a buffer a couple of times a month will strengthen them.
And like Anna said, using a strengthening and/or nurturing polish like Sally Hansen.

Julep makes an Oxygen nail treatment that is awesome for healing cracked, flaky nails. It paints on like polish and leaves a nice sheer flesh/pink color behind.

I agree with sabrina. I always use vitamin e oil on my nails and cuticles after taking mine off and give my nails a break from polish a couple days. I also put oil on them every night before bed and burt bees makes a good cuticle cream.

Use cuticle oil and nail strengthener. Keep using those products and avoid nail polish for awhile.

Try avoiding direct contact with salt to your nails n masaage cuticles with fresh lemon juice...it ll definitely work.
