You could always go to a salon and get them to lighten to brown or whichever color you'd like. They use products packed with proteins and can also do a deep conditioning treatment to keep any damage minimal.

I have black hair and I lighten my hair using a developer and a light brown hair dye. I think I used a 30 or 40 volume developer. the higher you go the more color it lifts. it did dry out my hair but it wasn't so bad, I just used a lot of hair masks and oils and it's a lot healthier now (:

If you wanna get rid of it completely, try using colourb4 cos it takes the colour out without damaging as it has no ammonia or bleach in it, but does turn an orangey colour! I had to dye over the top of it back to light brown/blonde and it worked fine

You can get it done by gwtting partial highlights , my sister went fro am black to golden brown wuth highlights! just slowlybso your hair can recover
