Something like this needs to be done by a pro especially if you want the red and purple combo. The only way to achieve the purple is by first bleaching than adding the color. If you only want the purple than possibly its something that you can have an experienced friend can do.

I think you need a professional. I'm all for DIY but in this case I think trying this at home is going to be a hot mess. Sorry. It's very cool :)
