If you want a tighter curl hold your hair on the wand for longer, and holding it on for longer also helps if your curl comes out kind of frizzyish

It looks good! I like my hair to have a longer, loose. As more of a wavy look so I straighten my hair a day before I wand it and when I wand it, it comes out perfect lol..just a tip:)

Wrap it tightly around the wand close together and hold it for longer. I know it takes a long time but the result is worth it. But he way your hair came out is really cute anyway :)

Like all the other girls said, hold it on for longer but also if your hair is thick and heavy you need to use a really good hold hair spray if not your curl will kind of fall but I love your hair it's gorgeous

If your looking for a more loose flowy curl then what you did looks great but before putting any hairspray try running your fingers thru your hair to loosen it or even flip your head over and just shake your fingers thru it..thats what I do.
but it looks great as it is already :)

Tips
-make sure to hold the barrel pointing downward
-wrap flat for a ribbon curl
-wrap in a coil for a wave
- the space between the hair while wrapped tells you if the curl will be loose or tight (make it little to no space for a ripple and lots of space for a loose wave)
-go in alternating directions (either row by row or curl by curl) for more volume
-best volume; curl your hair, don't finger comb it til it cools, flip your hair over, finger comb is starting from the ends
