I use the face one and it isn't too harsh for me!

No, it contains walnut shell shards, they're pointy, sharp, and hard and can cause micro tears in your skin. You can use brown rice flour or add some jojoba beads to your own cleanser for light exfoliation.

Great; but in moderation. When I first bought it I used it everyday morning and night and my skin became super dry and irritated and I found myself breaking out even more. I finished the tube and decided to give it another try, but I actually read the directions with this bottle! Now I use it properly three times a week at night and I have smooth, acne-free skin!

It is really good for your skin but not necessarily acne

Bad stuff..used it during teen years, it's actually too abrasive causing pores to tear.

I agree with cami. but I don't even use it that often.
I used the green tea one maybe 3 times this yr..
and the sensitive apricot scrub maybe once this yr.. I use other methods of exfoliating. but sometimes you have to take it back ol school n that's one of the things I know I can use n the shower for a couple days that will fix me right up if my skin is trippin.
I agree with Traci, I actually use the reg one on other parts of my body.. but overall I've had good results. I surely hope I'm not ripping my pores or anything. I'm taking everyones comments into consideration.

The beads are so harsh they actually make your skin worse. It's fine for your feet but that's about it lol.

Lol Naomi your so crazy I'm going to tell you I use to use this when I was young before becoming a Esthetician and it worked ok on me to the problem comes when you have used it for a long amount of time slowly instead of giving you the glowing complexion the small micro tears that it causes overtime leaves you looking duller like glass that has fog on it thats all no major trauma.

Damn damn damn Traci!. lol.
I hear ya. your analogy is logical. maybe this is y they have the New formulas. the beads in the green tea one are a lot smaller. now I have to do some research. be back in a jiffy!.. lol

I love it! I've been using retin-a for more than a year now and it has saved me from dry patchy skin!

I used to use it 1-2 times a week. I loved it and still do. I use just a little and "scrub" very gently. My skin is perfectly fine. I do, however, agree with the micro-tear claim and I see how they appear rough. Personally, I don't mind the product and will use it if I don't have anything else on hand to get the job done. I am still on the search for another exfoliant that does a thorough job like this one, but gentler. It makes a superb body exfoliant anyway.

I've seen that scrub under the microscope in a lab. I'm cool on that stuff. Its a jagged hot mess and I can't believe I used to use that stuff on my skin when I was a teenager. :(

Lol @ Shelley. not jagged hot mess!!.
I wanted to see if the new looks obviously different from the classic one but I don't think I have the green tea one n my kid is too crazy for me to go look in my backup bin. so my market research is suspended. lol...

Amazing! I have been using it for months and it's the only exfoliator that removes all dirt from my pores. My skin is no longer oily or dry. 10/10 reccommend!!

But, I guess it is subjective to your skin type

@Naomi...girl you know I don't play.lol. I was so bored one day at my husband's lab I saw of tube of the stuff in the bathroom (they like using it as a hand scrub with soap) and I slapped some on a slide. I don't know what maginfication I was working with but I freaked out from what I saw and my husband freaked out even more after he caught me doing it. Apparently me touching the prized 'scope without "permission" was a no-no.lol

Lmao Shelley. you are hilarious... now I must know if this is y they made more formulas. I love the sensitive n green tea ones. they really do work when noting else will. n the grains are majorly smaller. its a huge difference from the original.

Traci L.
Lol @Shelley your a nut the green is made with jojoba beads not shells I read it so its better.
Nov 6, 2013
Shelley W.
I've seen the green tea version...a much, much better scrub than that apricot version. @Traci...yup...I'm a nut. That's why he refuses to have me work for him.lol.
