So what should I do? Do I need to bleach again or is it enough if I just dye my hair with a box dye, let's say for example shade 10 or 9?

I never dyed my hair so I do not know a lot about it. but maybe try purple shampoo?

Just like people have an undertone to their skin they also have a hue to their hair. Brunettes tend to have a a red hue so if you dye your hair or try to lighten it it turns orange. If you look at the dyes they have warm colored dyes or cool colored dyes. You can only use cool colored dyes not warm. Also at Sally's or beauty stores sell color correctors you can use to mix with the dye to help prevent that color from happening. Or like Deseni said a purple shampoo. They have some that makes more red tones stand out, you don't want that. Or one that makes blonde tones stand out, that's what you want.

The same problem happened to me when I tried to lighten my hair. Go to a store like Sally's & buy the dye their. Make sure it's cool toned only you can ask an employee which are cool toned. And buy a peroxide that is high to help lighten like 40 and a color corrector to help prevent a red hue as well.

Also you could look for box colors that say ash like ash blonde they don't make red come out.
