Hello lovely peeps.. I was wondering if I can use my L'oréal liss ultimate hair serum as a heat protectant? If not, which serum offers the best protection against heat tools?

I would use a product that's made for heat protection because that may not be hydrating enough. I prefere creams over serums for heat protection because they seem to moisturize better and coat the hair more evenly.

John frieda frizz ease thermal protectant serum is what I use when blow drying or straightening- works well, leaves hair soft and bouncy and doesn't weigh it down.

@Kim, Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide was my favorite too, but discontinued. Amazon is the only place I've found it.
