If you were using Aveda I could tell you...all I can tell you is get a toner level 10 with violet blue..then after you tone it tone it again with a diluted gold mixed with a little bit of pink.. I'm not familiar with matrix but if you look at the chart it should show you what to mix..just remember the color wheel.

I use Paul Mitchell the Color and what I love about our color, especially for blondes is that it stays true and vibrant and you can also tone with it. My suggest formulation would be 1 oz. 9NB + 1 oz. 7P + 3 shots Color Shots™ Violet + 2 oz. 20 volume Cream or Clear Developer.

You can also use matrix ColorSync in 10V. Beautiful shade to remove any gold.

That is the brand we have where I work, but I have been using it nearly long enough to name which one to use off the top of my head. But I am going to assume you're buying it at somewhere like Cosmoprof or using it at school? Either of those places should have color rings so that you can coloe match and determine what shade you need. If your hair is platinum you will not need any lift, only deposit so do not use anything other than 10 volume developer. You don't need anything higher and all it will do is damage your hair. And if you have Colorsync I recomend using it instead. Demi will work because you don't need to lift and it's gentler on the hair.
