Hi, first sorry for my english I hope all of you will understand what I ask!

I need suggestion for my nails, I want to do nail gel or acrylic nail I don't know yet. What shape to wear? what color? I really have no idea.

Little description of me : I like beauty, make up, take care of me but I'm really not feminine, I mean I always wear sneakers, sweatshirt, I dress like a boy ahah.

So any tips or idea for me?

Okay so from what you've said I picked some choices that I think would fit for you! I would get acrylics because they look really nice. And since you have more of a tomboy style I would get them short.

Thanks Mikayla :) I don't want nude,I always have color on my nail (dark colors, like red, purple..) Maybe it's a stupid question but I'll even ask, with acrylic or gel we can do mat coat?

If I were you, I would get gel nails. they look more natural than acrylics and it takes longer before they have to be filled again. plus they are longer lasting. I have gel nails myself and in all these years I have never had any problems with them whatsoever, I absolutely love them.

Thanks all, I'll go for gel nails, and for red nail polish for a first time. I often wear red on my nail so it will not be a big deal for me :) and maybe I go to somethin more girly next time!

Gel nails never worked for me but it could've been the nail salon because I know people have good results with them. My moms lasted about a month. And I always just got my acrylics filled in. I think acrylics are more than gel nails though, in the price

I hate gel nails I got them and they all broke off way faster than when I had acrylics one of them was like the second day I got them. later I figured it was probably the salon and went somewhere else and it wasnt as bad as the first time but the gel didny hold up with acrylic. also I really don't see a difference in what one looks more natural and both you'll have to get filled because thata just your real nails growing.

Gel is definitely the way to go. If it comes off it wasn't done properly (I do gel nails). It's safer than acrylics. Get a dark navy blue maybe?

I've never had any cracks in my nails or broken nails, so if you had I think you just had a bad nail styliste... they really last a long time and I get them filled in every 4 weeks :)
