My nails keep chipping. I've been trying to grow them out a little bit, but they keep breaking & chipping, so I have to clip them. Help?

I would keep filling so there are no hang nails and don't use much nail vanish (it seems to make them weaker) hope that helps :)

Try applying a clear base coat, to make them stronger!

try rubbing oil into your cuticles everyday the oils and massaging motions make them grow nicer and stronger you could also try gel polish manicures like shellac these can help add an element of protection to your nails and make them look really nice but do keep your nail length to the tip of you finger for a while to allow them to grow stronger dont clip them as that can cause trauma use a nail file, you could use nail strengthener but your nails will only be strong while the polish is on i hope this helps :)

I would recommend that you stop clipping your nails. This separates the layers of your nails and leads to more breakage, which may be a part of why you've continued to have this problem. Instead, file your nails regularly to promote healthy nail growth and use a nail strengthener like OPI Nail Envy to help your nails become less brittle over time.
