You onlyapply bronzer on your cheeckbones. ONLY THERE. if you put it all over your face, you'll look like an orange clown.

Some use matte bronzer to contour but the shimmery one can be used like blush its to give a sun kissed look like if you got a tan kind of but you can wear bronzer with blush it just has to do with what you like hope I helped.

I use to have an addiction with bronzer but lately I HATE it. I use a light amount and it looks bad on me. You should always give stuff a go. Maybe to to Mac or Chanel makeup counter I know they have bronzer and just try them out :) that way you don't have to buy them and you can decide if you like it or if it's not for you.

The bronzer I believe in my eyes I could be wrong is used to contour the face to bring out the gorgeous structures of our faces giving illusion of nice cheekbones nice warmth to the skin complimenting the entire look that's the best I could explain

Well for contouring just blend it well but if you don't like the color like if its to dark just go over it with your foundation brush/sponge that you used that has a bit of product and go over it and it will lighten the color, but please don't use a shimmery bronzer to contour.

Try a MAC Mineralized Skin Finish if you are just looking for a healthy glow. Only apply small amount on the sides of your face in the hollows of your cheeks, a little on your temples and on the sides of your forehead. Don't forget to blend down to your jawline and neck just so it doesn't look like you have brown/orange blobs on your face. The key is to blend it all out so that it just looks like your face has a nice glow to it :) Good luck!

You want to apply your bronzed lightly until you are certain you know how to use it. It can really transform your face beautifully or look disastrous. My professional opinion? Create a letter C. This means starting from the temples of the forehead and glide the bronzer underneath your cheekbone. I say underneath because blush should go above. This gives your face an elongated look if you're wanting a slimming effect without contouring. I do this for most of my clients who want a sun-kissed glow.
