Many things!
first off you need to fix your diet. try taking some vitamins, eat very healthy, drink plenty of water, and eat fruits&veggies.
try to eliminate the amount of heat you use on your hair. the less you use, the less you damage your hair. keep in mind to ALWAYS use heat protectant.
try some hair masks and oil treatments! you can find diy's of them online, or buy some!
try using a shampoo and conditioner that are made for making hair healthier!
good luck! x

Use less heat on your hair. Actually some hairstylists say that getting your hair trim makes your hair healthier allowing it to grow quicker but others say that's not completely true and they would say If you want your Hair long then grow it out by not cutting it.

You're welcome dear! also I recommend getting trims. not too much but getting rid of split ends. some people say that helps the growing process, some say it doesn't. but overall it's good for your hair, because when you don't trim your split ends it will split even more and higher, causing your hair to be more damaged.

The supplement Biotin helps with hair and nail growth. It also plays a role in metabolic reactions as well as healthy blood sugar levels. So in general it's good for you. I take 10,000 mcg once a day with a meal.
I also use Mane N Tail shampoo and I absolutely love it.
I hope this helped because I totally feel like a walking advertisement. c:

Vitamins and maintaining good health is very important as mentioned.
My #1 tip would be to 'search and destroy'. Time consuming but totally worth it. Get a good pair of hair cutting scissors and every so often, sit down in good lighting and take a good look at the ends of your hair. Find individual split ends and cut em off. I realize that sounds so obsessive, but it truly works so well- you get rid of damaged bits without losing length in a trim. If you do this while taking good care of your hair overall, you won't have too many splits to even find. I always do this while watching TV or something, I just keep a tissue to catch the little cut ends.
