I have a super cute Aztec dress that's almost knee length and knee high brown boots. I really want to wear it for thanksgiving, but the weather this week is supposed to get cold. I've got fleece lined leggings I could wear under it. What other ways could I make a dress warm enough to wear in the cold?

You could add tights and wear long socks and a knitted cardigan, it would look super cute!

"Not be outside" No snarky comments necessary. You know what I meant. I will be outside.

I agree with you Cassidy, quite rude actually!

Ooh I would wear a boyfriend cardigan and tights or leggings, sounds like a really cute outfit in the making there! Have fun and be safe! P.S I feel like some people are getting kinda mean overall on this app. Xx

Well as an idea you can layer a sweater over the dress like the dress is a skirt, or a cardigan. Plus tights and maybe knee high socks for extra warmth! Hope this helped!

How could you girls possibly tell if Jeannie's comment was meant to be rude. I don't think you girls should jump to conclusions. It's an idea. If you really want to wear a dress, don't go outside. You said yourself it's going to be cold, so just stay inside. If you must go outside, maybe you should fine something else to wear. I don't think leggings/tights are going to keep you warm enough. And cardigans are thin, you need a jacket.

I live in Utah, where it gets below freezing this time of year! I would say wear really thick socks under your boots, wear warm fuzzy shorts under your dress, and add a nice warm hat! :) also, wear a hidden tank top under your dress to add more layers! The key is to add lots of layers! :)
