There are foundations for different types of skin maybe you're just not using the right one :)

Are you using a primer underneath the foundation? Myriam is right. You need to figure out your skin type & go with foundations that work with your skin.

@ lizeth yeah I think the foundation makes it more oily :(
@ atiyah I don't use primer underneath, is that a reason why it gets oily?

To be honest I think MAC foundations are so yucky especially for me cause I also have oily skin. Makeup Forever HD foundation is good. It has full coverage without making you look cakey like studio fix tends to do.

@ cassandra I will go ahead and try forever HD, I need something different :)
@ shelby yes I need something that stays all day because once I get out of work my face looks oily and ugly :(

I had the same thing happen to me when I used studio fix. I switched to Mac Pro long wear and it works like a charm. It's made for oily skin :)

I agree with Lizeth V.. I have very oily skin and the MAC didn't help. I tried everything for years. So, I would have to keep patting the oil off. I even went to the MAC counter and spoke to one of the Make Up artist. The the same foundation was recommended, Then to me MAC got a little expensive to keep buying and it was not helping. I have not changed to Revlon ColorStay for oily skin. Now I don't have that problem. It also could be what your washing your face with. If the skin PH is off then the skin will work harder to correct the PH and create the oily skin. I would recommend to change your cleanser. Something milder than what your using. It may help with the oiliness. With Foundation, I say test what is recommended for oily skin. I have found even though it says for Oily Skin, it still may not give you what your looking for. Best way to know for sure is test them. Hope this help.

Mac is better for dry skin. if it look oily , put the MAC skin finish power over it. it's gives it a dewy finish.
