Regardless of skin color, either one should work fairly well for you. Being nutrals, they are meant to work on a range of skin tones. Being fairly pale, I found naked 2 was too dark for daily use work use. Naked 3 is more subtle in coloring, it should be easier to blend colors if you are newer to eyeshadow.
