On the bottles usually write to apply and rinse... I keep about 5 minutes, but sometimes when keep less hair is even softer, so... I keep longer masks, about 20-30 minutes:-)

As long as you'd like. For maximum effect 20-30 mins. After that, the hair stops absorbing.

Btw, I've read somewhere that for a deep cond effect you could apply it on dry hair before washing and leave for 30 minutes under a shower cap and towel. It feels really soft:-)

So if you don't wash it all out, what dose it due for your hair?

If you don't rinse it completely out it works jus like a leave in conditioner would.

Leaving it in for more than a couple of minutes can't hurt (only help), when I put my conditioner in, to make sure I let it sit for long enough I shave my legs, wash my face, etc., in the meantime. Rinsing it out is my final shower task. :)
