They're a bit too childish to me. (I see why they were in the kids store lol) I personally wouldn't do it because it's not an investment. I don't think you would get a ton of use out of them. 5 years from now, as you mature, you'll probably outgrow them (mentally.) It's up to you. But if I was going to spend that much, I know I would want my money's worth.

I'm not going to talk you out of them. Honestly, you said you love them. And they don't seem childish to me. The best way to rule this out is. Will you wear them? Will you be able to wear them with anything. And will you feel satisfied when you get them or just feel like it was an okay purchase. Those are the questions only you can answer :-)

I bought a pair of uggs 2 years ago and they are still looking great! I would honestly say it was worth the money. uggs were the one thing that I could tell a huge quality difference. So I definetely would go with uggs. They will last a while too!
