I usually have a pretty simple look. Winged eyeliner, light eyeshadow with a darker one in my crease, and red lips. However, I kind of want to mix it up and start contouring. I have an oval shaped face if that makes a difference.

Put your index finger below your nose and your thumb above your ear with the same hand and bring the index finger towards your thumb. You will be able to feel your cheekbones. Then, find out where your cheekbones sink in. That wipl be where you need to contour. Have the strongest colour near your hairline and sort of blend it out to nothing by the time it gets to an Imaginary line vertical aligned to the outer corner of your eye.

When you contour, you want a contour powder that is brown with a grey cast. Brobzers with red toned or orange toned or gold toned or shimmer is the worst for contouring. It will not look like you have a contour, but rather a brown line.

I recommend the nyx blush in the colour taupe. It is perfext for cobtouring as it is brown but has a perfect amount of grey in it, mimicking the appearance of a shadow underneath your cheekbone. You can start with a less dense, pointed brush or an angled blush brush. It will give the same results as using any other recommended usual contour brushes, but will be a but more forgiving for beginners since it will not pick up as much product as a denser brush woyld do.

Bri basically aimed it up. An oval face shape is the ideal face shape, so what you can do is enhance certain features. Contour the sides of your nose, the hollows of tour cheekbones, temples, jawline, and the crease of your eyes. For a kore dramatic look, you can layer the contour.
