I always just get highlights but I am thinking about dirty blonde at the top like ombre effect. What do you guys think? Other suggestions are welcome.

I agree with girls that your actual color suits you very well, you may add better sone high/lowlights in a more warm/ash ( on your taste) tint to make color more deep, of you want a xchange. But on the other side a darker blonde would make your eyes pop. So it depends on you:-)
