I like it. I think you should use a lip liner tho..
lately I've actually been using blk lip liner with my lighter lipsticks. one by nyx called black berry.. I just lost it!. ugh.
that takes blending. if you aren't comfy with blending blk or dark brown I usually tell folks to use a darker shade in the sane color family.still takes some blending but not as much.. so a wine, plum, something along those lines.

I do agree with Naomi! (And *gasps* first time I've seen Naomi. So nice to finally see this wonderful lady😍) Women of color more often than not need a brown or darker colored lip liner. It makes the transition between the skin color and lip color less harsh and contains the lipstick.
Also, if you're going to wear a bold lip. The eyes have to be done up too. Just adds balance to the look. I do like the color

but I do agree with adding shadow. or an eye look. it doesn't mean you have to add a lot. the other day I did a blk eye line, heavy mascara. lip liner n lip glass n got a bunch of compliments on my "less is more look"..
the pic I just posted is from a month or two ago. when I first. playing with UD pallets but had to go to work so threw a sweater on n went as my site was clad n no one was going to see me.. ;-)

*when I say blk eyeine I just did the lid. not even rim my eyes.. it makes your lashes appear fuller n gave me a more done look than mascara alone.
