It may be best to use a gentle face wash, then use a mask or spot treatment for any acne or redness. Face washes with active ingredients get washed down the drain before they really have a chance to work. Like the other ladies said, neutrogena and Clinique have some good products for acne. You can also make your own oatmeal mask for redness, clay masks for oilyness/blackheads, or something like a spot treatment with sulfur ointment or tee tree oil for any little breakouts.

I love the body shop seaweed line. I use the deep cleansing wash 3 times a week, the gentle wash every day and the deep mattifying moisturizer at night. The SPF mattifying moisturizer in the morning. The deep moisturizer calms redness too! :) only washes that work for me. there's also an overnight serum that prevents wrinkles and soothes skin redness but I always forget to use it lol.

My all time favourite face wash is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, it's a little pricey but worth it! I've been working as a makeup artist for a few years and this stuff makes my skin perfectly clean and fresh, removes all my black eye makeup easily and leaves you feeling clean! Plus, it's great to just get to use the muslin cloth - actually removes dirt and grime rather than just spreading it around your face!
