To get waves doing two French braids in your hair work great. If you want to do more then that you can to.

Dampen your hair and apply preferred oil. Then braid it and leave them for a few hours or more.

After taking a shower, braid your hair- a regular braid starting below your ears for more natural curls- French braids for more defined curls- an sleep on them. In the morning, they'll be dry and not tangly so you won't have to brush it! brushing it will give it frizz and mess up the curls. it also saves time in the morning! or braid you hair (dry) and use your hair straightener to go over the braids. when they're heated and you take out the rubber band, it'll make pretty curls, but sometimes it doesn't work perfectly as other times. the easiest is sleeping in damp braids.

You can use your straightener to curl your hair, just use it as a normal curling wand, there are loads of tutorials on YouTube xx
