I've seen people take a straightener and twist there hair up to create the waves then then put the straightener on it while the hair is twisted.

Yeah Kacey, it gives you big bouncy like pin curls! Love it.

I curl my hair by making the curling iron horizontal and wrap my hair around upward away from my face. I take bigger sections and curl my whole head. I let them cool for about 5-10 minutes and then brush them out with a bristle brush. They will look completely brushed out for a second and then they will be such pretty loose curls! Put a light hold hairspray on and voila! šŸ˜

@Sara...that is what I do, it's time consuming but worth it.

Take bigger sections and curl, it looks like she curled going all the same direction too, then apply serum or your choice of hair oil (I love argan oil) and finger comb through the curls until it's to your liking.

I do what Sara does, but I apply a little sea salt spray before I brush over them and I get compliments for days when I go out! lol.

What about the beach hair sprays? some sort of mixture of salt and water spritz on your hair will give you loose waves like you want when you go to the beach. otherwise take bigger sections and don't hold them tight or for as long as you normally do. if you pull on the curl when its still warm you can loosen it up even more.
