What colour lipstick should I wear for my show?

I have a showcase in a few weeks; my one costume is in burgundy, and the other is black and white with a bright orange tutu. I don't have a lot of time to change, so the last thing I want to be worrying about is putting a different lipstick on. What shade can I wear that will compliment both outfits? I thought a red would work, but mine is quite pink toned, so how can I make sure a red will work?

Nyx has a matte lipstick in red that would work. I believe its called true red and the a deeper one is called merlot. it may work. 5.99 at ulta or target.
