I have a couple of projects coming up that require cutting and coloring someone's hair. I would ask my friends but they just moved out of the state. I was considering posting an ad on Craig's list but I would prefer someone who I could trade services with. Where do you all think I should look?

I agree with Velen and I wouldn't charge since it is for school.

If its someone on Craigslist, get to know them a little bit before. Maybe add them on Facebook so you know they are legit

I love the homeless shelter idea.

Model mayhem, but even if it is through craigslist you don't have to pay them.

If you do it on Craigslist you don't need to pay them, you can just say the modeling job is experience for there resume or portfolio.

I always used Craigslist with no problem. But I never brought them home always met at the salon. Maybe not a homeless shelter but a battered women's center. Homeless shelter here has really dirty ppl. Just sayin. Not tryna be rude.

Craigslist as many have already stated and be specific that there's no pay.
