I love having my hair in a bun, whether it's a nice bun or a messy bun but the problem is that during my gym period it always falls out and I don't have enough time to fix it after. Any tips on how to get it to stay in place? Also my hair is really long (3/4 down my back) and thick so I need something that will work and won't fall down easily.

Spin pins to secure instead of bobby pins.

I have the same problem I just do the elastic really tight and pull at my pony talk the. I just a stretchy head band thing as the elastic for the bun to keep in in place and the I use spin pins I do ballet so my hair has to be up for it all the time and I jump around and stuff and my bun always stays in place

Ugh I have the same problem! I still haven't solved it (-_-) but I use 14 of those huge bobby pins and 3 hairnets with a super tight ponytail holder... Doesn't help me much, but it might work for you. :)

I'm a dancer, so I know exactly what you're talking about. Use bobby pins, and then hairspray. Hope it helps!
