I absolutely hate this foundation. Although it looks amazing in pictures, in person I think it looks too cakey. It was very heavy and broke me out.

I've personally never used it. my friend is a makeup artist she said mac foundations are good for looking good in a picture but everyday its super cakey and only meant to covee up skin doesn't breath. I use revelon compact foundation also heard marcelle compact is good and makeup forevee.

I've been using it for 5 years and I love it. I don't need to use a lot to get amazing coverage. I have extremely sensitive skin and I haven't had a reaction to it. I say maybe go to mac and get a sample to see how you like it. This is how it looks in photos.

Don't care too much about mac foundations but love this one! Gives great coverage and you really don't need to use too much of it..and I mean you can't really complain about it being somewhat heavy on your skin..I mean after all it is a full coverage foundation for a reason. And if you're someone who doesn't like that, you should get a lighter foundation that won't make you feel like you're wearing foundation

I use MAC faithfully but I do mix my foundations. its definitely a full coverage foundation so its on the heavy side as far as texture. it all depends on what you're looking for. I mix mine to get the texture and color I need, and it works for me.

It's okay. I used it for years, switched to MAC's Matchmaster and then Pro Longwear (Matchmaster was a while ago so I can't remember if I liked it or not... Pro Longwear SUCKS) I went back to Studio Fix and then tried out the Mineralize Moisture foundation which is AMAZING. I ran out so I'm using an old bottle of Studio Fix. It gets the job done, but I do agree with Jacqueline in that it breaks down easily. It looks like a lot of the coverage is gone by the end of the day.

It's alright! I feel like it looks patchy on my skin after a while. So yes like the girls said above it does break down easily.
