I was just answering a girls question about how to match foundation and I was realizing I know how to match foundation but I can never find a foundation that matches me. I am the palest pale, but with warm/yellow undertones. Naturally I reach for the palest color in a collection display, but then I quickly notice it is cool/pink undertoned. Then of coarse I go to the next color up, and it is usually warm/yellow toned... BUT TOO DARK! I said if I ever find a foundation that matches me perfectly I would throw a huge party to celebrate my findings. I was wondering if y'all have the same problem or if you know of any lines who carry really pale yet warm foundations.

I once had a lady in ulta trying on all different foundations on me and staring at me and putting me in different lights... She couldn't find one either.

I know it sounds strange I just can't put a name a on it, they put it to your face and then it gives them a code (I think) then they put that code on the tablet and there you go perfect match:)

Mac for sure
Iman cosmetics is catered towards women of color and have warm undertones
elf has warm undertones but if you're fair it may be too dark.
Mehron has awesome cream foundations that come in warm light shades
From personal experience I find the lightest shade in drugstore foundations to be pink but sometimes the second to lightest is yellow.
Loreal Lumi, neutrogena (I hate it tho) Maybelline all have lighter yellow shades.
But I'd definitely say mac and iman, my friends are very pale so it's what I use on them

You could try unfoundation foundation? its colorless but still gives you the look of flawless skin I would also suggest tarte or dermablend. I work at ulta & they have a vast selection of shades. you could also try a bb cream close to your shade because its not full coverage & a good one will blend into your skin completely. also the new smashbox halo foundation has a ton of different shades also.
