What I really want is a delicious elderflower drink from my boyfriend and my favorite bar in NYC... which I will get on Christmas Eve before we head to my family's hosue =) And a great holiday with my friends and family.

Lizeth, as far as my family goes, yes we give each other expensive gifts a lot of the time... I always had a Christmas list growing up, but the older I got, the smaller my list got as well. Now I really just ask for practical things I can use in my every day life as an adult instead of big expensive gifts. But traditionally (in my family and my friends families) we/they normally make a list with some "big presents" on there.

@lizeth it's kinda just tradition to ask for everything you've ever wanted, because you never know what you will get! I have a split family, and one of them has 8 kids so we are all spoiled about 4 times around Christmas, it's actually ridiculous how much they spoil us on Christmas so I don't bother asking for tons of stuff anymore because I feel bad since I know my parents will spend the money.
