I know you guys have seen girls who put mousse in their hair and it gives off those wet looking hard waves. I know it is weird but I love the way that looks. Do any of you know of a good hair mousse that can achieve those crunchy waves? My hair is already naturally wavy, but when I put mousse in it, I do not get the desired look. I have also tried the techniques with turning my hair upside down and scrunching with my hands but nothing works! Any good hair mousses or tips will be appreciated! Sorry for the long topic.

Bumble & Bumble has a spray called Beach Waves (I think that that's the name) but it essentially gives you that wet hair look with just a smidgen of texture. Mousse is just so drying on the hair.

You shouldn't use mousse on wet hair as it dries it out so much, I got told off by my hairdresser for doing that??

My friend does that look quite often. she uses mousse, hair gel, and hairspray! (yikes) I don't know what brands she uses though. but I think using all 3 is the "trick" to getting that hard crunchy texture. I would Jusy advise not doing it tooooo often. you don't want all that residue in your hair.
hope I helped! :)
