what i sometimes do is blend two foundations together until i find a match. the best place to try it is just along you're jawline. i hope this is helpful :)

Don't try to match the color to the skin on your face, match it to you upper chest that way if you wear a v-neck shirt or open top you will be all the same color.

Try mixing a darker and a lighter shade, but not dramatically darker or lighter just one that's 1-2 shades darker and 1-2 shades lighter and also color match to your chest! Never color match your hand or face. And also with foundation it's always better to go darker than lighter, you know what I mean. IE don't get a foundation that may be a shade lighter than you cause you will look ghostly and gray.
