Looking to give mac a try and don't know enough about their foundations except I've heard they can be cakey, in my opinion I think cakey comes out from how much you apply , but I want a nice matt finish something med-full and give a nice finish but not too heavy. Right now I use lancome tient idole ultra 24 hour and like but I am curious?

I have combo skin too, I went to MAC and the MUA recommended the matchmaster foundation, I love it! It's medium-full coverage, and it gives you a semi matte natural finish. It felt soo light, like I wasn't wearing any foundation. Deff give it a try :)

I will say have them try something on your skin and wear it for the day. I can't tell you how many people will love the way it looks at the counter and end up coming back and not enjoying the look elsewhere. :) that's what I do, atleast! Have them do it and come back the next day if you *love* it.

Totally agree with Jennifer I bought it right at the counter that day and later realized I didnt really like it at all.

Studiofix is hands down, my go to foundation. I have more foundations than I know what to do with and I always find myself going back to it. Long wearing, great for combo/oily skin.
