Hey guys! I want to dye my hair from dark brown to dark red, but WITHOUT lifting my natural colour. Do you have any recommendations for what I could do? Thanks :)

I would get it done at a salon. Doing it by yourself can be difficult especially if it's using red dye. I just dyed my hair red and I love it!

I dye my hair red myself at home and I use manic panic in the shade of vampire red they have a variation of reds to choose from and they're really inexpensive and you don't have to pre lighten your hair or mix it with developer. I have medium brown hair and my hair comes out pretty bright but because your looking for a dark red I would choose vampire red or infra red in the manic panic line because your hair is darker it should get you the dark red your looking for but it is a semi permanent dye so you'll have to re dye it probably every month or so.. Also don't dye your hair yourself if your unsure if you can do it.

When I did my red hair I actually dyed it a darker brown almost black then did red. It came out as this really pretty deep red. I used splat hair dye. It stayed for a while and looked awesome. Did all this at home with the help of my mother:)
