Can perfumes get expired? I kno its a dumb question but I jus want to kno.

I don't think its a dumb question. I actually don't know the answer to this. I mean I would guess no? My mom has some perfumes in her closet that I know shes had since the day I was born ( I'm 19 now, so thats perfume she has sitting in her closet for that long) and it doesn't seem to have gone bad or anything.

Hi Tania,

Because the majority of fragrance is alcohol, it can not expire, meaning -- it will not harm you to use it. However, because the other part of it is essential oils, the fragrance itself may change a bit over a long period of time. I hope this answers your question!

Nope, the scent may change over time but the perfume can go bad.
