I want to do a Katy Perry inspired dramatic glitter eye for Halloween....any ideas of how to get loose glitter on my lid without it falling off throughout the night?

PS the picture is how I want it to look haha

You should invest in a glitter base or adhesive. Too Faced's Glitter Glue is amazing! I also like LA Splash's base as well. This is the Too Faced Glitter Glue: http://www.beautylish.com/p/too-faced-shadow-insurance-glitter-glue

Also in terms of that picture, if you don't have a glitter in mind i'd recommend MAC's Reflects 3D silver.

Both of those glitter bases are great!

But if you are in a pinch you can wet your brush with water or setting spray and apply to glitter on top of a very thin layer of lash glue on your lid. It will be hard to get off however.

or but hair oil on your lid

I would recommend using a silver glitter liquid eyeliner above an eyeshadow that is a flesh tone color. I think a great way to apply it would be taking some on the back of your hand and using your finger or you can use the brush that comes with it. And affordable one would be the NYX Candy Glitter Liner in Disco Ball which retails for $4.50! Or you can chose the NYX Candy Glitter Liner in Silver- I feel Disco Ball is a bit more sparkly than Silver though. It's all about personal preference. Hope I helped!

I use bastar glitter and it comes with glue. Cheerleaders use it all the time! It is super glittery and will last a long time
