I french braid my head real tight after I get out of the shower and spray it with any curling sprays when you wake up its usually dry or damp then you undo the braid and hairspray it and it makes kinky curls.

Thanks, Angel! I'm currently fond of damp hair in a bun overnight for waves and foam rollers for big, bouncy curls. Rolling is quick and easy once you get the hang of it.
