You can get coconut oil from a beauty supply store (they have oul specifically meant for hair) or a grocery store (you just put it in your hair). I've heard mane and tail is good for growing strong hair, and strong hair grows faster. everyone swears by that shampoo, I use it, and I think it works. also, massage your hair while shampooing 3 times a week in the shower (using any shampoo), and rinse with cold water right before you get out. happy growing!

Some people might suggest taking biotin pills, but I use the biotin hair moisturizer and it works like a charm :) the pill has many side effects, and you shouldn't take the pill without consulting a doctor!

I do this mask once a week:
2tbs mustard powder
2tbs olive oil
3tsp sugar
2tbs hot water
1 egg yolk
Only apply to you roots and leave on for at least a half hour and an hour at the most put a warm hat over your head to keep the mask warm

I agree with using oils :) avoid using too much heat and even the chemicals from using too many products can be harmful...trim your ends often to remove split ends which can cause your hair to stop growing.

I bought mane n tail shampoo but it left my hair feeling horrible, my hair had never been in such bad condition, I had to go to the hairdressers as soon as I could because I was so unhappy with how it had made my hair. I think it all depends on the type of your hair. But I've recently been using Moroccan oil, using a 10p piece size amount on my palm, then rubbing into my hands and then rubbing it into the ends of my hair, it's great for split ends and smells amazing too!

My hair is now at my butt. I cut the tips just a little when the moon starts growing new moon. If you shave you can see that if you do shave ex. The legs on new moon days the hair grows back faster. Instead if you do it after full moon it will grow slowly. It causes the same effect than tides.

Just wait.. and take care of the ends so they won't die as fast so you have to cut them. My hair is super long now but I also saved a long time for it.
