It's really hard to get a brush through my hair when it's wet too, I learned to start at the very bottom and brush the knots out there then keep moving up your hair in little sections until you have brushed all of it

You use conditioner rght? mines hard also. you could use leave in conditioner or a hair mask to brush threw and rinse out.

Using a comb on wet hair is better.

Brushes on wet hair aren't very healthy, use a wide toothed comb!
When you're using the comb, every time you get a knot stop combing, and deranged the knot by using your hands. With your fingers split apart the knot until it's gone, and continue to comb!
Brushes cause a lot of breakage, and when the hair is wet it's more vulnerable to damage.
Good luck!

I also started using a comb this week. I asked my friend about it before I asked on here. Hasn't really done a whole lot. :/

I always brush my hair before I get in the shower just so that when I get out it's not so tangled and I don't damage it

Shaye & Jessica answered best. always start combing/brushing from the ends and work your way up to the root. and definitely continue to condition.

I use leave in conditioner and then I start at the bottom of my hair and comb with a wide tooth comb.

It's easier for me to start with the ends and then work my way up. Hope this helps!
