My mums had a perm for about 20-30 years and her hairs fine! If you do send me a pic and I would recommend using a shampoo for damaged hair just incase 😜😜😜

But putting ANY chemicals in your hair will damage it. I don't think you should because I know many people who have strongly regretted it, but it's really your decision.

Don't get a perm. I got a perm and at first it was really good. but after a while it wears off. Plus after awhile it really damages your hair.

I got perm and I like it but everyones hair is different. Mine hair wasn't super damaged after, only just a little. I'll write few things that I think should be sure for succes perm: 1. you need to have health hair when you done it 2. go to really good professinal you know before 3. choose with a hairdresser the best variety for your hair and your target (for example for first time are good relieved perms for shorter time with less damage) 4. use proper cosmetics from good brand (helps a lot with reducing damage) 5. blow dry your hair with diffuser (helps curls) 6. if you have long hair don't comb a lot 7. don't expect miracle - you still need to touch up and fix them 8. And enjoy them! ;)

My aunt did that... She had gorgeous thick straight hair and she did the Curling Perm and it totally damaged her hair... Now her hair is like not straight but not wavy and its very damaged.

Oh gosh what ever you do don't perm your hair!! Too many chemicals that will damage your hair like crazy plus it's good to have a variety of hair styles just curl your hair when you want a curly hairstyle.

Perms arent as bad as everyones claiming they are, there's just rules you have to follow if you do get a perm and its when people don't follow these rules is when you get hair damage/breakage, the decisions up to you just if you do decide to get a perm listen to all te recommendations your hairdresser gives you and follow them :)
