Gabby, unfortunately I don't have experience with bleacher measured this way , I understand what's with it only when talking about %. But from my experience reds esp light shades need a light base to get a bold, rich color. Last time I used a red of 6 level on a 6 level dark blonde with a 6% developer ( medium) it wasn't light enough:-)

Also tried 7 level red on 6 level brown with almost stronger developer and I didn't even noticed that dyed it, just a lil more copper than it wa before...
