I have the GiGi wax kit and have been using it for years. Got it for Brazilian but I finally got to where I would just stand there with a wax strip on and count to four like ten times and was too chicken to ever pull it off! Just eyebrows for me now. My boyfriend can deal with shaved lol.

Sugaring is a little less painful. It doesn't stick to live skin cells so it doesn't tug as much. I wish I could recommend a brand or recipe but I myself am still looking into a good way to get into it. I tried the poetic waxing kit from Bliss and it was painful and messy. I'm totally fine with the pain when plucking though. Like it doesn't bother me at all. I think maybe I did too large of an area at once though lol.

I think hard wax may be what was in the Bliss kit. I think it's wax that hardens so you just grab the wax itself and pull it off, you don't need the cloth strips. If that's what it is then that's what I used in the Bliss kit and it definitely hurt. I also had problems with it not setting as quickly and it was still soft in spots when I went to pull. Although, that was my first and only experience with waxing so if I were to do it again I'd do things differently lol. I also think I tried to do too large of an area at once...really don't know what I was thinking there lmao. I would probably prefer cloth strips this time around. It seems easier to grab onto. I know some companies also make pre-waxed cloth strips that you warm between your hands but I haven't tried any myself. They seem a lot less messy though.

Look for any hard wax (it'll say so on the box) be sure to buy one that you heat up! Hard wax grips the hair and is less painful on sensitive skin. If you're worried about pain pop a Tylenol 30 mins before you wax. Sally Hansen has a really well made bikini wax :)

When looking for a hard wax also try looking for the ones that still use the clothes (the clothless ones hurt a lot). The difference between hard and soft wax is that hard wax hardens onto the hair and doesn't tug the skin like soft wax :D
