I can curl my hair but I just go really slow to get it right and by the time I'm done half of them are flat. Any tips to go faster?

Try putting the heat higher and leaving your hair on for less time.

Put some light holding heat protectant spray on the piece of hair you're going to curl and wrap it around the barrel for 5 seconds or more. Not more than 10 seconds because you'll damage your hair. Then, pin up the curl and go on to the next piece of hair. Once the pinned up curls are cool, let them down and use a teeny bit of holding spray. Don't use too much product or it will weigh down on the curls and flatten them. I use a karmin clipless too, it's professional so I work better with it.
