Do you have to wash the cleaning product off with water or something? I have no idea.

Depends on the product. Some say to use water some do not.

Yeah.. you'd have to tell us what product you use.
the only products I've had to leave on tho have been moisturizers & overnight masks. every other facial cleanser usually has to be washed off with warm water.. at least all the ones I've ever used (x

If it's a 'tonic' then it's probably a toner which isn't the same as a cleanser, use face wash over the sink and rise THOROUGHLY with warm water and then dry and use a toner with a cotton pad (Then moisturise)! Xx
