Hey ladies! I was wondering if anyone knew good brands and such I could use to dye my hair blue. I don't really want a bright blue but more of a navy or midnight blue color. black looking in dim lighting and blue in sunlight. I know its a little out there but I've been wanting to do this for years and hey its just hair right? if I don't like it I can always redye it black (: right now my hair is a really dark brown and I'm hoping not to bleach it. I think maybe the color would still show up as a sort of tint instead of a neon blue. kind of like this - http://www.beautylish.com/f/jxauyw/blue-hair I absolutely loveeee her hair. any tips? thanks guys!

I dyed my hair really blue, but a good brand I used was stargazer. You can buy it online. They have a lot of colars. It's not permanent, but you can wash it a lot before the color comes out :)

Since it's black, boxed dyes are going to be as good as any in this instance. I believe its Garnier that has a blue black. They sell Garnier and pretty much every store like Walmart, Rite Aid, Walgreens etc.

Manic panic after midnight right over your dark hair would be awesome!

Gen is it one of those powder ones that you have to mix? also do you have to bleach your hair?

Oh and one more thing, it seems like in the first few pictures that its a really bright shade is that how it comes out or was that a different color you used?
